About the college

A residential cadet college for girls, established by the Government of Balochistan.

Our history

Girls Cadet College Quetta admitted its first entry in 2022. It was established by the Government of Balochistan to give girls from across the province the kind of residential cadet college education that was once available mainly to boys.

Cadets come from districts all over Balochistan. They live in boarding houses on campus, study in modern classrooms and laboratories, and take part in sport, drill, debating and societies every week.

  1. 2022First entry of cadets joins Class VIII.
  2. 2024Third entry admitted; all classes from VIII to X running.
  3. 2026First SSC results and opening of the new computer laboratory.

Vision and mission

Vision. To produce young women of sound character, sharp intellect and physical fitness who serve Balochistan and Pakistan with integrity.

Mission. To provide a balanced residential education that combines strong academic results with leadership training, sport, and the values of honesty, tolerance and hard work.

The college is governed by a Board of Governors that approves its budget, admissions policy and senior appointments.
