A cadet college for the girls of Balochistan

Girls Cadet College Quetta was established by the Government of Balochistan to give girls from every district of the province a residential education that builds knowledge, confidence and leadership.

Cadets live in four houses, study a science-focused curriculum, and follow a day that begins with physical training at dawn and ends with prep in the evening. Discipline here is not an end in itself. It is how cadets learn to manage their time, lead others and keep their word.

Five years, three stages

Cadets join in Class VIII and leave after the higher secondary examinations in Class XII.

  1. Class VIII

    Junior college

    A foundation year in English, Urdu, mathematics and science, with the first taste of house life, drill and games.

  2. Classes IX and X

    Secondary school certificate

    Science group for all cadets, preparing for the SSC examinations and the choice of stream for Classes XI and XII.

  3. Classes XI and XII

    Higher secondary certificate

    FSc Pre-Medical, FSc Pre-Engineering or ICS, with guidance for MDCAT, ECAT and university applications.

Every cadet belongs to a house for all five years. Houses compete in sport, debating, drill and academics for the Principal’s Cup.

Entry into Class VIII (8th). The portal closes on 31 December 2026.

  1. Pay the registration fee of Rs 2,500 at United Bank Limited (UBL) and keep the stamped challan.
  2. Fill the form online and upload the documents listed on the admissions page.
  3. Keep your application number and use it to track your application.
  4. Sit the entry test, then the interview and medical examination if shortlisted.
